However, since the cat was still alive it meant that the girl never felt herself dying, because she was already in the afterlife, and the cat gazing out at the window is the girl looking down on earth from the afterlife/heaven.
It seems that this song is about going after your dreams, no matter how crazy they are, so that even when the end creeps by, you will be happy to see that you have lived a full life despite it all.

個人的考察
歌っている女の子は猫の飼い主で、猫が宇宙に興味を持つまでとても仲良しだった。
宇宙を目指す猫を応援しつつ、少しずつ距離を取っていく。
猫は見事宇宙ロケットのパイロットに任命されたが、ロケットには脱出装置が作動しないという重大な欠陥があることが発覚する。
しかし、猫は自分の犠牲よりも夢の実現を選んだ。
ロケット発射の前夜、飼い主の女の子は見送るだけで止めなかったのは、猫の夢を邪魔したくないと思ったからではないか。
ロケット発射。女の子は最後まで彼方へと旅立つ猫を乗せたロケットを見つめていた。
ロケットは案の定、空中で壊れ始めて地上に戻るのは不可能となったが、宇宙に出ることには成功。猫の夢が叶った瞬間だった。
